Axel’s journey hasn’t been an easy one, but you’d never know it from his wagging tail and gentle nature.
 
Axel came to CAA with a dislocated and badly infected front leg, facing some tough challenges. Despite the pain, he remained calm and loving, soaking up every bit of kindness that came his way.
 
Though his leg couldn’t be saved, Axel hasn’t let being a tripaw slow him down or dull his bright spirit. His carers have described him as having the most gentle nature they’ve ever seen.
 
At around five years old, Axel is the perfect companion. He loves walks, belly rubs, and being by your side, whether inside or out. He’s well-mannered—toilet-trained, leash-trained, great with kids and other dogs, and rarely barks.
 
Axel is ready for a forever home where he can thrive. He’ll greet you with a wag, a grin, and a smile from ear to ear when you get home.
