Charlie is incredibly smart — the kind of dog who picks up commands quickly and surprises you with just how switched-on he is. Sit, stay, drop, come? He’s got those down with a bit of treat motivation. If he were a little bigger, he’d give the working dogs a run for their money!
 
He’s also a bit of a softie. He’s toilet trained, loves kids, and wants nothing more than to be part of the family — inside and out. He’s happiest when included in daily life, whether that’s playtime in the yard or curling up near you inside.
 
While he would love to have a doggy friend, he needs a slow introduction and some time to settle in. He’s not a fan of cats, and he’s had a female owner in the past — he may need a bit more time and patience to warm up to men, but once he trusts you, he’s yours.
 
One of his quirks? He’s a daydreamer at mealtimes. He’ll wander off mid-meal unless you’re there encouraging him to eat — not fussy, just easily distracted! He’s never aggressive, just quietly lets the others take over if you’re not watching.

Assisted rehoming is an opportunity for CAA to assist owners needing to rehome their pet in the absence of an available foster home or as requested by the owner.
 
Please be aware that as this is an assisted rehoming and the dog is not currently in the care of CAA. Owners may rehome their pet privately whilst CAA advertises so we cannot guarantee availability.
 
Upon successful adoption through CAA, we will ensure the dog is:
💙Vaccinated
💛Flea/worming treatment
💙Microchipped
💛Heartworm Tested
💙Desexed
 
CAA cannot accept financial responsibility for any health issues that may arise once adopted.
 
Adoption fee includes desexing, microchipping, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments.
