**Please read the below information carefully as HANK has some special requirements which will need to be understood and met by her new family.
 
HANK is a super affectionate boy who talks a lot and needs to be a part of the family. He is happiest with his people and stresses out when left alone. HANK loves smooches, cuddles, snoozing while snoring down the house, removing squeakers from toys, going for walks and sneakily investigating the kitchen benches or pantry when no one is watching.
 
HANK gets along with other dogs of all sizes and ages, however he does get over excited when he first meets them and forgets his manners trying to play. HANK is untested with cats. He loves kids, but does have a tendency to jump up when excited and wanting some love so could easily knock down the littlies. HANK walks great on a lead and only pulls a little if he sees a new dog or spots the perfect tree to leave his mark, but quickly responds when corrected. He is house trained if he has regular access to outside.
 
HANK has some separation anxiety and needs a home where he is allowed inside and to go on outings with his family as well as secure fencing or able to be kept inside when not at home. He would also love another dog for company, but mostly needs his own human family to love. He is also a great watch dog who will alert you to anyone around. Like a number of dogs in our care HANK is being treated for heartworm. This is a condition that can be treated and is avoided by regular preventative medication.
