* Bonded Pair *
We, Harvey and Barbie, are a bonded pair who require a loving, generous home to adopt us together – It’s like winner winner, chicken dinner… you get 2 for the price of 1, with twice the loving and snuggles. YAY!
Hello! I’m Barbie, a typical sweet little girl who only wants two things in life… Food and as many pats as possible!! I’m not an escape artist, and only bark occasionally when Harvey alerts me of something interesting. I will sit (mostly on command) and I’m house trained like all good little ladies.
I’m more dominant than my brother from another mother, Harvey and like to squeeze my way into any pat situation I’m not already involved in… the more pats the merrier, right?! I like to play with my humans, or my bro Harvey, but I love nothing more than to snuggle up on the couch.
I love food, so much! But I am not aggressive about it… no need to be, when I can wait patiently for Harvey to leave his bowl before licking up what is left. No wasted food here!
I walk single-minded like a tank on the lead, so some further training with a harness would be beneficial for me. I do however obediently leave the house when told and sleep well in my bed.
Hey! I’m Harvey. You’ve already been introduced to my sister from another mister Barbie, and well I’m the gentle giant of us pair of cutie-patooties.
My favourite spot is to be leaning up against my humans leg, while receiving a good scratch behind the ear! That’s bliss for me! I am quite the gentleman and very intelligent, and I know my commands; sit, stay, shake etc. I’m also house trained and sleep well in my bed too.
I show little interest in toys, unless Barb is playing with them. I differ to my sister Barb in all things, but I take her dominant nature in my stride. I’m more motivated by love for my humans, and I’ll even let Barbie have my bone if it means I can get a pat instead.
Cats… well honestly, I don’t like them – they’re kind of weird, and I love to chase birds (so much fun!), so a house with chickens may not be a great fit for me.
I don’t jump up when excited, instead I do what my humans like to refer to as “Happy Circles” when they come home… as I can’t decide if I’d prefer head or butt scratches, more than the other…
If you believe you could open your heart, immerse yourself in cuddles and give us the forever home we so desperately would love to be part of, then give the lovely ladies at CAA a holler, fill out an enquiry form and meet us in person where you can’t help but fall in love.
Looking forward to the best pats and butt scratches you can give!
Hope to meet you soon.
Adoption fee is $275 for both of them and includes desexing, microchipping, vaccinations, flea and intestinal worm treatments. All dog adoptions include the requirement for a Capricorn Animal Aid officer to conduct a yard check.
