Meet MURPHY - Your New Best Friend!
 
MURPHY is an 8-year-old male Dachshund looking for his forever home. This sweet boy was previously an outdoor sleeper but has since become an indoor cuddle bug in foster care. 
 
MURPHY gets along well with other dogs and cats, though he loves small animals like guinea pigs a little too much.
 
MURPHY thrives on companionship and enjoys being near his humans, whether it is sitting at your feet or snuggling on your lap. He will let you know if something bothers him with a growl, but if you give him space, he's happy again. It took about a week for MURPHY to warm up to his foster carers, but now he moseys around like part of the family.
 
Although MURPHY has been snappy in the past, he has shown no signs of aggression in foster care. He would be best suited to a home with older children or no children as he is not a fan of unpredictable littlies.
