Meet POPPY, a 3kg pocket rocket bursting with energy and personality! Despite her small size, POPPY makes a big impression. She’s curious, playful, and loves to zoom around with the big dogs—even keeping up with a husky! POPPY would thrive in a home with another dog or active humans to keep her entertained. While she gets along with most dogs, she prefers calm companions that won’t overwhelm her—or sit on her. She may have “little dog syndrome,” but behind that bark is a sweet and affectionate pup.
POPPY adores being part of the family, whether it’s snuggling on your lap or cuddling up in bed. She’s full of character and will always let you know when she wants attention, greeting you with sweet morning kisses. While she loves being around people, POPPY isn’t a fan of toddlers or young children, finding them unpredictable. She’d do best in a home with older children or adults who understand her needs and can watch out for her tiny shadow underfoot.
For the right family, POPPY will be a loving companion. She needs a home where she can be both inside and outside, as she loves to run around and stretch her legs. At CAA we provide required vet work for puppies including the first 3 x monthly vaccinations and desexing at 6 months. This work needs to be done at our preferred vets in Rockhampton or Yeppoon, therefore we are only able to adopt our puppies to persons living in the local area or who visit the area regularly enough to commit to these appointments. All current pets should be desexed and vaccinated.
