Meet POPPY, a sweet and gentle senior girl looking for a peaceful forever home where she can enjoy her golden years in comfort and love. POPPY is the perfect companion for someone seeking a calm, affectionate dog who simply wants to be near her person. Her favourite spot is right by your side on the couch, and she’ll happily follow you around the house—even keeping you company during bathroom breaks! POPPY is definitely an indoor dog and thrives in a quiet environment with minimal stairs. While she needs a little help getting down steps for toilet time, she confidently makes her way back up on her own.
 
POPPY gets along with the other dogs in her foster home but prefers not to interact too much, especially around mealtimes. She’s not fond of cats, particularly after one gave her an unfriendly swipe. At her age, POPPY is in good health with only mild arthritis in her back legs, which is easily managed. She also travels well in the car, making vet visits and gentle outings a breeze. If you have a calm home and a big heart, POPPY would love nothing more than to spend her days by your side, soaking up the love she so deserves.
