Meet TOBY – this beautiful little brindle boy is the absolute epitome of a Staffy.
 
TOBY and his siblings had a rough start to life, being rescued by a local pound then CAA at only 6 weeks old. They had wormy tummies, gastro and all weighed only around 2kg. Thanks to our partners at Alma Street Vet Surgery and Acacia Vet Surgery, they have all been vet cleared, are quickly gaining weight and now ready for adoption.
 
TOBY talks, howls, runs full pelt into your legs, will climb a puppy fence and has zero concept of person space. He is the first to greet you and jump on your lap for a cuddle and all the other wonderfully adorable things that people love about staffies including napping on his back. He is very smart, comes to the sound of a clicker or whistle and knows to sit before he will get any attention or food.
 
TOBY is mostly outdoors while in care, so he does toilet on the grass. His carers introduced a puppy grass training pad with all the rain, and he seems to understand the idea. However, he is a puppy so will have some adjustments with the excitement of his new home. He is a chewer so lots of toys to keep those teeth busy is a must.
 
At his foster carers house, TOBY is fed a mixed diet of kibble and certified raw foods so he will easily adapt to his new homes feeding preferences.

At CAA we provide required vet work for puppies including the first 3 x monthly vaccinations and desexing at 6 months. This work needs to be done at our preferred vets in Rockhampton or Yeppoon, therefore we are only able to adopt our puppies to persons living in the local area or who visit the area regularly enough to commit to these appointments. All current pets should be desexed and vaccinated.
