Hi, I’m Bean, a clever, energetic girl looking for someone who understands that the best relationships take a little time to build.
I can be nervous when I first meet new people or experience new situations, and I sometimes assume I've done something wrong. Once I feel safe and trust my people though, my affectionate and loyal side really shines. I form strong bonds and love being part of my family's everyday life.
I’m a very intelligent girl who already knows a number of commands, including sit, wait, shake, bed and here. I enjoy learning and would thrive with someone who is committed to continuing my training using patience, consistency and positive reinforcement.
I have lots of energy and absolutely love to play, although I can get a little carried away and don't always know when it's time to stop. I also enjoy the water and am easy to bathe, which makes cooling off after an active day nice and easy.
I travel well in the car, though I may occasionally have an accident, and I'm still working on my indoor toilet training. If I'm left bored or lonely, I can become destructive, so I'll need plenty of enrichment, exercise and companionship to keep me happy.
I can be vocal when I see unfamiliar people or things, and there are times when I decide I know best and might ignore a command or two. With ongoing training and the right guidance, I have all the potential to become an incredible companion.
Because I can be unsure around young children and have previously shown defensive behaviour, I would be best suited to a home without small children. Older, dog-savvy children who understand how to respect a dog's space may be a better fit.
I would love a home with a large, secure yard or property where I have room to stretch my legs. I could happily live with another well-matched dog to play with, or equally enjoy being the only dog if I have plenty of interaction with my people.
I'm a girl with a big personality, lots of potential, and so much love to give the right family. If you're looking for a loyal companion and are willing to invest a little time helping me build my confidence, I think we'll make a wonderful team.

Assisted rehoming is an opportunity for CAA to assist owners needing to rehome their pet in the absence of an available foster home or as requested by the owner.
Please be aware that as this is an assisted rehoming and the dog is not currently in the care of CAA. Owners may rehome their pet privately whilst CAA advertises so we cannot guarantee availability.
Upon successful adoption through CAA, we will ensure the dog is:

💛Flea/worming treatment
💙Microchipped
💛Heartworm Tested
💙Desexed
CAA cannot accept financial responsibility for any health issues that may arise once adopted.
