Hi, I’m Buddy, and my name suits me perfectly because I truly want to be everyone’s best mate.
I’m a social, happy little guy who loves people, other dogs, and being part of the action. Whether I’m running around the yard, playing with the kids, or making new friends, I approach life with enthusiasm and a wagging tail.
I would absolutely thrive in a family home with children as I love to run, jump, climb, and be involved in whatever is happening around me. I’m an active boy who enjoys exploring, so I’ll need a secure yard with good fencing because if given the chance, I do like to take myself on little neighbourhood adventures to say hello to everyone. As an extra precaution, a collar and ID tag with current contact details is also important for me.
I get along beautifully with other dogs and enjoy having company around. I’m still learning some of my indoor manners, including remembering not to lift my leg inside the house, but I’m making good progress with consistency and guidance.
At the end of the day, I’m simply a loyal and loving little companion who wants to be included in family life and share plenty of fun along the way.

Buddy is currently undergoing treatment for heartworm, which is fully covered by his adoption fee. His new family will need to commit to continuing his treatment plan, including regular medication, scheduled vet checkups, and keeping his activity levels low while he recovers.
