Cookie is a calm and friendly girl who enjoys the simple things, hanging out in the yard, spending time with her doggy companion, and watching the world go by. She’s currently living with a male dog and gets along well with him. While she hasn’t had direct contact with cats, she doesn’t react when the neighbour’s cat strolls past the fence.
 
She hasn’t had much experience with small children but may suit a home with older, respectful kids. Cookie is looking for a home where she’ll receive some affection and companionship—she's ready to form a bond with her new people.
 
She’s an outdoor dog and not yet house trained. Secure fencing is a must, as she’s been known to take herself on an adventure if given the opportunity—though this has been resolved with proper fencing. She may bark at passers-by but is otherwise easy-going and well-mannered.

Assisted rehoming is an opportunity for CAA to assist owners needing to rehome their pet in the absence of an available foster home or as requested by the owner.
Please be aware that as this is an assisted rehoming and the dog is not currently in the care of CAA. Owners may rehome their pet privately whilst CAA advertises so we cannot guarantee availability.
 
Upon successful adoption through CAA, we will ensure the dog is:
💙Vaccinated
💛Flea/worming treatment
💙Microchipped
💛Heartworm Tested
💙Desexed
 
CAA cannot accept financial responsibility for any health issues that may arise once adopted.
