Capricorn Animal Aid works because of the many HEROES who make it possible. But now, on behalf of LACHIE, we are calling for a CHAMPION. LACHIE is  a sweet but extremely timid pup, who has had a very rough start to life. As a result of his previous trauma, LACHIE needs an incredibly special someone to give him the home, the love, the time and the security he needs. 
 
LACHIE deserves a CHAMPION; someone who will be in his corner each and every day. Someone who will have tireless patience and time for a beautiful pup who is looking for his place in the world. Someone with an understanding of how to gently train a traumatised dog. Being a CHAMPION is work but man oh man, once you gain his trust, the rewards will be indescribable. 
 
LACHIE has come such a long way since being in foster care, but still will only allow his carer to touch him under very special circumstances. However once he gets a pat, he will send out the most beautiful subtle signs that he wants more; gently leaning in and waiting patiently for some more love. LACHIE loves playing with his canine foster friends, and would best suit a home with an older and more confident dog who can teach him the ropes. He will chase a ball and bring it back to you and has also learnt to wait patiently for his dinner. Lachie is untested with cats, although he has shown an instinct to chase little critters. If you are known for your patience and are up for a challenge, LACHIE is ready to give his CHAMPION a loving and loyal friend for life.
 
LACHIE’s adoption fee is $330 AND includes desexing, microchipping, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments. As CAA is located in Central Queensland, we will prioritise local applications.
