Hi, we’re Mabel and Luna, two best friends looking for a home where we can stay together. 💗
 
MABEL is the more cautious girl of the pair. She can take a little time to feel comfortable when meeting new people or experiencing new situations, but once she trusts you, you’ll have a best friend for life.
 
Mabel is also a great little watchdog. She quietly observes what’s happening around her and will let you know if something unfamiliar catches her attention. She absolutely adores her foster sister Luna and greets her each morning as though they’ve been separated for days. 🥹
 
Mabel is crate trained and sleeps quietly through the night. She gets along well with both large and small dogs, although her behaviour around cats is unknown. She’s an intelligent girl who responds beautifully to patience and positive encouragement.
 
She is still building her confidence on lead and can be unsure when cars pass close by. With some quiet reassurance and continued positive experiences, she is making progress.
 
LUNA is the little pocket rocket of the pair. She has a lovely, placid nature but is always ready for some fun. She loves going for walks, chasing lizards around the garden and keeping her humans entertained.
 
She is a clever girl who loves to please and is quick to learn. She can become a little frightened if she is confronted with a loud or angry voice, so she’ll thrive with gentle handling, patience and positive encouragement.
 
Luna gets along well with dogs of all sizes. She hasn’t been around cats in her foster home, so this would be a new experience for her. With Cattle Dog in her genes, she may also thrive on a country property or larger acreage where she can put her working-dog qualities to good use.
 
Together, Mabel and Luna are a wonderful pair who balance each other beautifully. Mabel brings her thoughtful and loyal nature, while Luna brings the fun and playful energy. They are looking for a loving home where they can continue their lives together and have someone who will give them the patience, kindness and love they deserve. 🐾💗
