OGGY is a medium-sized marvel with a heart full of love and energy. Standing tall (ish) and lean at 17kg, he's the perfect playmate for dogs and kids alike. OGGY thrives on zoomie chases, wrestling, and tug-of-war with his favourite toys. While he can be a bit over the top during playtime, he responds well to firm boundaries set by other dogs. A home with a non-reactive dog that can calmly guide him would be ideal, as OGGY’s energy levels mirror those around him.
Inside the home, OGGY can be a well-behaved and quiet companion, though at times, OGGY gets overstimulated, especially around cats. He needs a home with loving patience, with a family who can manage him and provide him with a consistently calm environment. He loves his toys, often chewing or sucking on them to soothe himself. OGGY’s affectionate nature shines through as he cuddles on the couch or sleeps in bed with you, making him one of the best cuddlers you'll ever meet.
OGGY needs an active family that includes him in their daily activities or a dedicated person who can spend plenty of time with him. His love for toys and his playful nature mean he needs a home where he can run, play, and burn off energy before coming in to relax and cuddle his family. While OGGY might bark when he wants attention or sees someone nearby, his joyful and loving character more than compensates. With regular grooming to keep his soft Maltese hair tidy and a bit of patience and understanding, OGGY will be the perfect addition to a loving home that can meet his unique needs.
