Scout is a happy, energetic young dog who loves being active and involved with his people. He is great on and off the lead and walks well in a halti without pulling. He enjoys outings, including beach walks and is content to spend his days outside before sleeping indoors at night.
He is friendly and affectionate with people, especially children and loves attention and belly scratches. Scout can become over-excited when new people arrive and may jump up, so he will benefit from continued training and a firm, consistent home.
He listens well and settles once calm, showing good potential.
Scout gets along with other dogs but can be a bit dominant and plays rough, so he may be best suited as an only dog or with a larger, confident female dog. He has never met a cat and has a strong chase instinct, so he is not suitable for homes with chickens or small animals.
This sweet boy is fully toilet trained, food motivated and would suit a home with a fully fenced yard. Scout is a fun, affectionate young dog looking for a committed home to help him grow into a kind, happy member of the family.

Assisted rehoming is an opportunity for CAA to assist owners needing to rehome their pet in the absence of an available foster home or as requested by the owner.
Please be aware that as this is an assisted rehoming and the dog is not currently in the care of CAA. Owners may rehome their pet privately whilst CAA advertises so we cannot guarantee availability.
Upon successful adoption through CAA, we will ensure the dog is:

💙Microchipped
💛Heartworm Tested
💙Desexed
CAA cannot accept financial responsibility for any health issues that may arise once adopted.
